The Men’s and Women’s Garden Club of Minneapolis is an organization for all people interested in gardening. Our members hail from communities throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area, from all walks of life and have diverse gardening interests.
We were chartered as the Men’s Garden Club of Minneapolis by the Men’s Garden Clubs of America in October 1942, and in November 2012, changed to our current name. This year we are celebrating our 78th year as a club, and still going strong.
We meet year round, the second Tuesday of each month, at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church in the winter, Lakewood Cemetery in the spring/fall, and at special garden club events in the summer. Join us at our monthly meetings for dinner followed by wonderful speakers, or just come for the meeting and speaker.
