A Workshop on the Magic of Growing and Arranging Cut Flowers
The Men’s and Women’s Garden Club of Minneapolis invites you to attend a workshop on growing and arranging cut flowers. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn about the art, science, and bit of “magic” that goes into growing and arranging cut flowers.
During the workshop, you’ll have the chance to learn from Mary Barsness and Julie Burgart, Club members and experts in the field, who will cover topics such as:
- Selecting the right flowers and plants for cutting
- Tips for growing healthy and vibrant flowers
- Techniques for cutting and preserving cut flowers
- Creative ideas for arranging flowers in beautiful and unique ways
While it’s planning and planting flowers and foliage that provide a successful cutting garden throughout the seasons, you will also have an opportunity for an up-close look at design techniques.
The Club’s “Flower Power” workshop is featured on Bachman’s Workshops and Events web page https://www.bachmans.com/e/workshops-events, is free to attend, and will be held on Thursday, June 29th from 4:30 pm – 5:50 pm
