Garden Club of Minneapolis members have been volunteering since 2019 to help upkeep the garden at the Day Center courtyard found on the Minneapolis Veterans’ Home campus, 5101 Minnehaha Avenue South, Building 4. Starting with an initial 2019 grant from the GCM Deane Fund, members get together in the spring and fall for a general clean up, as well as to plant shrubs, perennials, annuals and vegetables in raised beds.
